Joana Brandão

Joana Brandão, Almada, 1977. Formou-se como atriz e encenadora na ESTC, tendo feito vários espetáculos. Paralelamente, tem desenvolvido o seu trabalho como dramaturga, diretora de atores, locutora e professora. Recentemente, estreou-se como realizadora, com o documentário Terra. Realizou os video-clips I Would do it Again, de Inês Herédia, túnel, dos Pluto, e Onde Estou Eu, de Manel Cruz (vencedor de vários prémios na Categoria de Melhor Vídeo Musical e Melhor Fotografia).
Foi galardoada com o prémio de Melhor Atriz de Teatro, em 2017 (Prémios SPA) com Constelações, no Teatro Aberto, e o Prémio de Melhor Texto Escrito para Teatro, em 2014 (Prémios SPA) com o seu monólogo "Coragem Hoje, Abraços Amanhã". Obteve outros prémios na área do cinema.
