Professora auxiliar do Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, onde coordena as unidades curriculares de Adoção e Acolhimento e de Avaliação e Intervenção com Famílias em Risco. Doutorada em Psicologia, tem colaborado com a formação e a supervisão de profissionais a atuar na área da promoção e proteção de crianças e jovens em risco. A sua investigação está centrada no impacto dos cuidados parentais precoces no desenvolvimento cognitivo, emocional e comportamental de bebés e crianças.
