Jess Walter

Jess Walter has written eight books, some of which reached number one on the New York Times bestseller list. He was a finalist for the National Book Award in 2006 and, in the same year, a finalist for the PEN Literary Award in both fiction and nonfiction categories; he received the Edgar Allan Poe Award in 2005. His work has been translated into 30 languages, and his short stories have been published in various publications, including Best American Short Stories, Harper's, and Esquire. The author lives with his wife and three children in the same house where he grew up, in Washington state.
