Jerónimo Pizarro é professor, tradutor, crítico e editor, responsável por mais de 30 edições de e sobre Fernando Pessoa. Professor da Universidade dos Andes, titular da Cátedra de Estudos Portugueses do Instituto Camões e Prémio Eduardo Lourenço (2013), Pizarro voltou a abrir as arcas pessoanas e redescobriu A Biblioteca Particular de Fernando Pessoa ou como Ler Pessoa, para citar alguns títulos da sua bibliografia. Foi comissário da visita de Portugal à Feira Internacional do Livro de Bogotá e coordena há vários anos a visita de escritores de língua portuguesa à Colômbia. É coeditor da revista Pessoa Plural e diretor da Coleção Pessoa na Tinta-da-china
