Jean-Louis Laville

Jean-Louis Laville é diretor de investigação no Collège d'Etudes Mondiales de Paris, professor de Economia Solidária no Conservatoire National des Arts et Métires (CNAM), investigador no LISE (CNRS-CNAM) e no IFRIS, é membro do Conselho Diretivo do Instituto Karl Polanyi de Economia Política, membro fundador e dirigente da Rede Internacional de Investigação EMES, membro fundador da Rede Latino-Americana de Investigadores em Economia Social e Solidária (RILESS).
Em 1994 publicou o livro Economia solidária: uma perspetiva internacional, que se viria a tornar uma referência nos estudos sobre a economia solidária.
Dirige hoje várias coleções de livros em França - Sociologie Economique, Solidarité et Société e Poiesis & Praxis - e é um dos membros do corpo editorial do Dicionário Internacional da Outra Economia, publicado em Portugal, em 2009, pela coleção CES-Almedina.
