Javier Gimeno
Javier Gimeno, a Biology graduate from the Complutense University of Madrid, has always combined nature conservation with education through scientific outreach. As an environmental monitor, zookeeper, and conservator, his career has led him to learn about and consequently publicize the exceptional characteristics of many species: chimpanzees, penguins, manatees, etc. He has participated in various television and radio programs and has been a lecturer and professor in several courses, including the professional specialization course for Technical Assistant of Zoos and Aquariums at the Complutense University of Madrid. He has also participated in children's programs. Roads beginin TVEand in the programs Esto me suena, from Ciudadano García, It's never too late., by Yolanda Ramos - both on Spanish National Radio - and Today by Today, by Nacho López Llandres, at the Spanish Broadcasting Society. Currently, he is the director of one of the best bird parks in the world, the Weltvogelpark Walsrode, in Germany, and biologist-curator of the Faunia Natural Park in Madrid.
