J. A. Temudo de Castro, investigador, executa programas e projectos no domínio da ciência e tecnologia aplicadas à inovação. Foi responsável pelo Programa Integrado das Tecnologias de Informação e Electrónica, PITIE, e fez parte do Comité de Gestão do programa ESPRIT (European Strategic Programme for Research and Development in Information Technology). Nestes domínios tem acompanhado a participação de capital de risco em apoio de empresas inovadoras.
