Ivone e Joep Ingen Housz (Ivone portuguesa e Joep holandês), mudaram-se há 14 anos para Rubiães, perto de Paredes de Coura, em busca de uma vida em harmonia com a natureza. O casal vegano criou um santuário animal e o CouraVeg, um congresso anual onde procuram dar espaço ao debate sobre os benefícios de um estilo de vida sustentável. Depois de viverem vidas agitadas, ela como psicóloga e ele no mundo empresarial, saíram do Porto e foram em busca do sonho de viver na natureza, instalando-se numa quinta abandonada e tomada por silvas, em Rubiães.
