Cedo ingressou no mundo do trabalho tendo exercido múltiplas atividades profissionais. Atualmente está reformado.
Parte da sua obra poética está publicada em «Rainha de Maio – Antologia Poética» e em «O Inverno da Vida».
Ocupa os seus tempos livres a escrever.
