Isabel Vilarinho

Isabel Maria de Oliveira Vilarinho Correia nasceu no Porto em 24 de Janeiro de 1966. Viveu uma infância feliz e protegida na companhia dos pais e irmãs. A sua adolescência foi marcada pelo namoro com Pedro Correia, seu marido e companheiro de vida, pai da sua filha Catarina que sempre acompanhou e muito acarinhou a mãe nestas andanças. Licenciou-se em História, variante História de Arte, pela Universidade do Porto.
Foi dando vida a um projeto educativo em jornais locais que conheceu a sua amiga e parceira de letras, Vanda Novais, com quem é coautora em "As Damas dos Ciprestes", editada em 2007. É professora de História na Escola Secundária Abel Salazar em S. Mamede Infesta.
