Isabel Figueiredo, licenciada em História, trabalha na Rádio Renascença desde 1990. A escrita surge no contexto da produção de conteúdos para rádio, tendo recentemente participado na publicação de uma coletânea de apontamentos escritos para a RFM, com o título "Vale a Pena Pensar Nisto". Mãe de três filhos, publicou também um pequeno livro sobre a maternidade, intitulado "Espera". A "Via-Sacra com Maria" foi rezada pela primeira vez em 2014, numa iniciativa da Paróquia de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, em Carcavelos, localidade onde reside.
