Isabel Maria Carvalho Borges, conhecida pelos pseudónimos Poeta dos Bons Caminhos ou MC, Maria Carvalho.
Nasceu em Casal do Paúl, freguesia de Almoster, concelho de Santarém.
É COACH pelo instituto de Ciências Comportamentais e de Gestão no Porto e certificada em Psicologia Positiva Aplicada.
Hábil na arte de poetizar, assume carácter vanguardista — expressões poéticas sedutoras, onde derrama a sua essência e assiduidade carismática.
Desde cedo destacou-se de forma espontânea e genuína em tertúlias ribatejanas, noites de fado, jornais regionais e grupos de poesia, na Rádio Cartaxo, etc.
Foi cronista do jornal de Notícias de Rio Maior.
