Isaac Marion nasceu em Washington em 1981 e viveu toda a vida na zona de Seattle. Teve vários empregos bizarros, incluindo entregar camas hospitalares a doentes em estado terminal e supervisionar visitas parentais com crianças entregues à tutela do Estado. Não é casado, não tem filhos, não tem estudos universitários e nunca ganhou prémios literários. Sangue Quente é o seu primeiro romance.
