Ilda Duarte Oliveira nasceu em Lavra, Matosinhos em abril de 1968. É licenciada em Comunicação Social e detém uma Pós Graduação em Gestão e Administração Hospitalar. Começou a escrever ainda criança pelo prazer de surpreender. Aos doze anos ganhou o Prémio Nacional de Literatura Infantil Ferreira de Castro. Publica agora o seu primeiro livro, uma coletânea de poesia, mas que poderia ser de contos, de prosa poética, de crítica, de reportagem ou apenas de divagações fortuitas. Diz a autora "Escrevo o que sinto quando sinto".
