Ignacio Martínez de Pisón

Ignacio Martínez de Pisón Born in Zaragoza in 1960 and has resided in Barcelona since 1982. He is the author of more than fifteen books, among which stand out the novels Carreteras secundarias (1996), adapted for film in 1997 by Emilio Martínez-Lázaro and again in 2003 by the French director Manuel Poirier, The Time of Women (Teorema, 2004) and Milk Teeth (Teorema, 2010), as well as the essay Burying the Dead (Teorema, 2007), which won the Rodolfo Walsh and Dulce Chacón awards and was unanimously praised by critics in several European countries. His work has been translated into more than a dozen languages.
