Hermínio Martins

Hermínio Martins (1934-2015) estudou na London School of Economics e esteve exilado de Portugal até abril de 1974, tendo sido professor da Universidade de Oxford mais de duas décadas. Foi também professor na Universidade de Essex, onde fundou o Departamento de Sociologia, na de Leeds, e convidado nas universidades de Pensilvânia e Harvard. No último período da sua vida ativa foi investigador convidado do ICS e depois investigador honorário.
