Heloisa Seixas

Heloisa Seixas nasceu no Rio de Janeiro, em 1952. Formada em jornalismo, trabalhou muitos anos na imprensa carioca, e é autora de mais de vinte livros publicados no Brasil. Foi quatro vezes finalista do prémio Jabuti, com Pente de Vênus, A Porta, Pérolas Absolutas e O Oitavo Selo (também semifinalista do prémio Oceanos). O Lugar Escuro é o seu primeiro livro de não-ficção e o primeiro da autora publicado em Portugal.
