Hamilton Ramos Afonso nasceu em Bragança, em fevereiro de 1956, cidade onde completou o Ensino Liceal em 1973. É licenciado em Engenharia Eletrotécnica e Ciências da Computação, e Mestre em Auditoria Informática. Profissionalmente, terminou a sua carreira como Diretor de Balcão no Santander Totta, sendo originário dos quadros do Crédito Predial Português. Editou "Amor Como o Primeiro" (2015) e já participou em várias antologias poéticas.
