Hamdane Hadjadji

Hamdane Hadjadji nasceu em Miliana, Algéria, no ano de 1932. Doutorado em Literatura Árabe, este autor é um dos grandes especialistas na matéria. Deu aulas de árabe em Paris e na Algéria, tendo trabalhado como tradutor de árabe para francês, ocupou também cargos administrativos, como o de conselheiro do gabinete do Ministro do Ensino Superior do seu país natal (1989-1990).
Autor de inúmeras traduções, Hadjadji publicou artigos e livros que se tornaram uma referência nos estudos árabes. Para a Assírio & Alvim, Hamdane Hadjadji escreveu, juntamente com Adalberto Alves, "Ibn 'Ammâr Al-Andalusî - O drama de um poeta".
