Gonçalo Sereno é natural do Cartaxo. É responsável de produção numa fábrica que produz, congela e embala produtos hortícolas em Alpiarça.
O seu sonho foi sempre escrever e colabora com um jornal local na vila onde mora, A Voz de Pontével.
Escreve ao sabor do que sente e experiencia durante os dias.
Pertence a uma companhia de teatro amador em Pontével, Os Kaspiadas, e também já colaborou com a Companhia de Teatro do Cartaxo.
Baloiço de Papel é o seu primeiro livro, publicado pela Oficina da Escrita.
