Gonçalo Reis é um gestor com forte intervenção cívica. Administrou empresas públicas e privadas, nacionais e multinacionais. Presidiu à RTP de 2015 a 2021, cumprindo o ciclo mais longo de liderança da instituição desde o 25 de Abril e tornou-se o único presidente a completar dois mandatos em democracia. Trabalhou com vários governos. Conhece bem os sectores de media, publicidade, infraestruturas, consultoria e private equity. Escreve regularmente na imprensa. Licenciou-se em economia, na Universidade Católica Portuguesa, e concluiu um MBA na Universidade de Chicago. Coleciona arte contemporânea. É casado e tem 4 filhos. Serviço Público é o seu primeiro livro.
