Gonçalo de Almeida Ribeiro é titular de uma Gulbenkian Professorship na Católica Global School of Law e investigador do Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law. É licenciado pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Nova de Lisboa e doutorado pela Harvard Law School. O título da sua dissertação de doutoramento é The Decline of Private Law: A Philosophic History of Liberal Legalism. Leciona e investiga nas áreas da Teoria do Direito, da Filosofia Política e da História do Pensamento Jurídico.
