Gary Larson
Gary Larson, creator of the phenomenally successful cartoon The Far Side®, spent his childhood in Tacoma, Washington. As a child, he liked to draw, but he never studied art or thought of becoming a cartoonist. His true love was biology, which eventually became a frequent subject of his drawings.
The scientific community paid tribute to Larson by naming a louse and a butterfly after him.
The author lives in Seattle, Washington - on earth.
