Garrett McNamara holds the Guinness World Record for surfing the biggest wave of all time, in addition to accumulating victories in different surfing competitions around the world. He was the first foreigner to receive the prestigious Vasco da Gama Naval Medal, awarded by the Portuguese state. McNamara lives between Hawaii and Portugal, although he regularly travels the world with his family on their exploration adventures.
