Gabriela Cabezón Cámara (San Isidro, Argentina, 1968), intelectual, jornalista e destacada ativista feminista e ambientalista, é uma das figuras mais proeminentes da literatura sul-americana contemporânea. Obteve imediato reconhecimento e sucesso com o seu primeiro romance, La Virgen Cabeza, de 2009, tendo Las Aventuras de la China Iron, de 2017, sido finalista do International Booker Prize e do Prix Médicis. As Meninas do Laranjal, originalmente publicado em 2023, consolidou a sua fulgurante carreira, recebendo numerosos prémios, entre os quais o Premio Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz 2024 e o recente National Book Award para Literatura Traduzida 2025.
