Fumiko Takeshita is a famous children's author in Japan. She graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University and has lived with cats for 35 years. She currently has five: Sango (coral), Marine, Kinako (bean flour), Kure (a word she invented to mean: "half white, half black"), and Koma (worried).
