Francisco Fonseca

Francisco Fonseca was born in Barcelos. He graduated in History from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. He was part of the team of journalists who published the first issue of the newspaper. PUBLICHe was the editor of the magazine. "Abel Varzim Magazine", responsible in the northern region for "Rural Country", a publication about tourism, travel, gastronomy and folk art.
He returned to Barcelos Popular where he currently serves as its director. He has never left his position as director of the Milho-Rei Cooperative, having served as its president. He has directed and collaborated on several magazines with national and local reach. He published for the first time, in co-authorship with a group of poets, "Tributaries of Freedom", and, in 2022, the novel "The House on the Hill"A year later he published his book of poems.
