Francis Crick foi co-vencedor do Prémio Nobel da Medicina e Fisiologia em 1962 pela descoberta da estrutura molecular do DNA. Actualmente o Dr. Crick exerce funções de Professor Visitante da Fundação Kieckhefer no Instituto Salk em S. Diego.
