FILIPA PERDIGÃO RIBEIRO fez doutoramento na área da Linguística Aplicada, na Universidade de Lancaster (RU). Participa em conferências nacionais e internacionais como revisora científica e com comunicações e artigos na área da análise crítica do discurso. Participa num projeto sobre os media e a construção europeia na Universidade de Málaga. Foi co-editora da revista Dos Algarves: A Multidisciplinary e-Journal de 2007 a 2016, ministra módulos de escrita académica a cursos de mestrado e faz revisões linguísticas de textos académicos e científicos
