Fernando Luís Sampaio

Fernando Luís Sampaio nasceu em Quelimane, Moçambique, em 1960. Na infância e adolescência, viveu algum tempo em Viseu. É licenciado em Línguas e Literaturas Modernas pela Universidade de Lisboa. Estreou-se com o livro Conspirador Celeste (1981), que venceu o Prémio Revelação da APE, ao qual se seguiram Hotel Pimodan (1987), Sólon (1987), Escadas de Incêndio (2000) e Falsa Partida (2005). Foi traduzido para francês, espanhol, italiano, inglês e croata. Foi diretor do Festival Mergulho no Futuro (Expo’ 98) e do Instituto Português das Artes do Espetáculo, atual Instituto das Artes. É consultor para a dança e músicas plurais no Centro Cultural de Belém.
