Fernando Évora é autor de vários romances e livros de contos, entre os quais se destacam Como se de uma fábula se tratasse (2008), Amor e Liberdade de Germana Pata-Roxa (2012), O Mel e as Vespas (2015) e Hamsters de Biblioteca (2016). Todavia, foi No país das porcas-saras, editado pela primeira vez em 2010 e reeditado em 2020 pelo Grupo Narrativa, traduzido em língua espanhola, que o deu a conhecer ao mundo dos livros. Tudo o que faz parte do Fernando Évora escritor está aqui: a ironia, o escarafunchar na alma dos homens de carne e osso, que olham para a vida com ingenuidade e deslumbramento, inseguros dos seus sonhos. Nasceu em Faro no ano de 1965. Vive no arquipélago dos Açores.
