Fernando Chueca Goitia (1911-2004). Arquitecto e ensaísta espanhol, além de académico, historiador e erudito, torna-o uma referência na arquitectura espanhola do século XX. De entre os cargos que desempenhou deve destacar-se que foi catedrático de História de Arte na Escola Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, membro da Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando y de la Historia, presidente do Instituto de Espanha e Decano do Colégio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid. Em 2002 recebeu o Prémio Nacional de História de Espanha.
