Fernando Albuquerque de Almeida

Licenciado em Ciências Farmacêuticas pela Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa e mestre em Health Economics, Policy and Law – especialidade em Health Technology Assessment – pela Erasmus University Rotterdam, onde desevolveu a sua tese "Transferability assessment of a NICE single technology appraisal (STA) to Portugal: the case of cabazitaxel for the second-line treatment of metastatic hormone refractory prostate cancer".

A sua experiência profissional inclui actividade em controlo e garantia de qualidade na indústria farmacêutica e consultoria nas áreas de farmacoeconomia e acesso ao mercado de medicamentos.

Actualmente aluno de doutoramento no Institute of Health Policy & Management – Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, onde exerce ainda actividade docente nas disciplinas de Health Technology Assessment, Participating in HTA Research (modelling) e Pharmaceutical Pricing and Market Access.
