Professora Coordenadora da Escola Superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo da Universidade do Algarve. Doutora em Gestão de Empresas na especialidade de Finanças (ISCTE-IUL), tem lecionado temas nas áreas das Finanças em cursos de mestrado e de licenciatura. Ainda no âmbito da sua atividade universitária exerceu funções de pró-reitora e de vice-reitora da Universidade do Algarve. É coautora de um livro sobre Finanças Empresariais, tendo também artigos publicados.
