Fátima Velez de Castro

Fátima Velez de Castro nasceu em Arronches, em 1979. Aos 17 vai viver para Coimbra, cidade onde realizou a sua formação académica em Geografia, aí se fixando, definitivamente em 2005. É professora universitária e investigadora da Universidade de Coimbra.
Escreve com regularidade desde muito jovem, tendo ganho alguns prémios literários, com destaque para o "Prémio Literário Pedro Ferro" (edição de 2005, com o conto "Frontêra").
Também escreve na imprensa regional, partilhando com o irmão Luis Velez as "Crónicas de um Mano-a-Mano", no jornal "Notícias de Arronches".
