A sua atual investigação, entre os campos da linguística e da filosofia da linguagem, está centrada no uso persuasivo da linguagem emotiva e na dimensão dialética do discurso implícito. Aplica os modelos teóricos desenvolvidos para o contexto da educação, propondo métodos de análise do discurso e de conversa em sala de aula.
