Fábio Rafael Augusto

Fábio Rafael Augusto é doutorado em Sociologia pela Universidade de Lisboa, onde desempenha funções como Investigador Júnior no Instituto de Ciências Sociais (ICS-ULisboa) e Professor Auxiliar Convidado no Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas (ISCSP-ULisboa). Integra também o corpo docente do Doutoramento em Sociologia (OpenSoc), em representação do ICS-ULisboa. A sua investigação centra-se na análise de temas sensíveis junto de populações vulneráveis, entre os quais o da ajuda alimentar, pobreza, desigualdade, exclusão social e práticas de cuidado e saúde. Entre as suas principais publicações destacam-se os livros Practical and Ethical Dilemmas in Researching Sensitive Topics with Populations Considered Vulnerable (editado com Ana Patrícia Hilário) e Alimentação em Tempos de Crise: Consumo e Segurança Alimentar nas Famílias Portuguesas (coordenado por Mónica Truninger).
