F. Correia dos Santos

Fernando Manuel Correia dos Santos holds a degree in Chemical-Industrial Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and is an Adjunct Professor (equivalent) in the Mathematics Department at Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa. Alongside his teaching activities, he has held management positions in companies in the metallurgy sector, in diverse areas such as Production, Quality Control, Factory Management, and Research and Development, as well as consulting in the areas of Project Management, Industrial Management, and implementation of Quality Assurance Systems (ISO 9000). His teaching and industrial activities have always been complementary, analyzing interesting problems arising in industry at the school and developing applications for the latter, usually with computer support, using the mathematical, numerical, and statistical methods taught in the former. Currently retired, Mathematics and Computing remain faithful companions, with an interest in Intelligent Data Analysis.
