Eunice de Souza

Eunice de Souza nasceu em Poona, Índia. Doutorada pela Universidade de Bombaim, Mestra em Literatura Inglesa pela Universidade Marquette nos Estados Unidos. Leccionou no St'Xavier's College, em Bombaim, a partir de 1990, tendo-se reformado em Agosto de 2000. Publicou livros de poesia Fix (1979), Women in Dutch Painting (1988), Ways of Belonging (1990) e Selected and New Poems (1994). Organizou com Adil Jussawalla Statements, uma antologia de prosa indiana em inglês. Publicou Talking Poets, livro de entrevistas em inglês com poetas indianos e organizou a antologia Nine Indian Women Poets. Poemas seus têm sido incluídos em antologias em diferentes países, tendo alguns sido traduzidos para italiano e finlandês.
