Éric Roussel
Éric Roussel (1951) is a well-known French writer and journalist, specializing in political history and author of several biographies of French statesmen, such as Jean Monnet, Georges Pompidou, Mendès France, and Charles de Gaulle. Roussel is also a literary critic for Le Monde and Le Figaro. He has presided over the Pierre Mendès France Institute since 2007, the year he was appointed a member of the Commission for History and Human Sciences and the National Book Center.
