Nasceu em Paris em 1958, é historiador e jornalista. Profundo conhecedor de temas como o gaullismo e os serviços secretos, é autor de mais de uma dezena de obras, entre as quais De Gaulle et les Français Libres, De Gaulle et les Grands, Washington contre de Gaulle, L’Ami Américain, L’Histoire Secrète de la Droite (1958- 2008) e 3000 Ans d’Idées Politiques. Depois de Les Entretiens Oubliés d’Hitler (1923-1940), o autor volta a debruçar-se sobre o fenómeno do nazismo neste que é o seu mais recente livro
