Elsa Maria Pires, 30 de Abril de 1963 nasceu em Angola, viveu em Angola, Moçambique, Suíça Nascida em Angola, escritora, com três romances editados tem Amor Sapal o seu primeiro conto infantil. Foi escrito aquando de um convite como escritora, para ir a escola de Vale Judeu onde tinha sido presidente da Associação de Pais durante sete anos. Empresária e artesã, é mãe de Ricardo, Paloma e Luana.
