Elizabeth Bryan

Elizabeth Bryan é pediatra-consultora honorária do Queen's Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, em Londres, e Directora Médica da Multiple Births Foundation. Foi co-fundadora da Twins and Multiple Births Association e é vice-Presidente da International Society for Twin Studies. Em 1987, fundou a primeira clínica especializada em gémeos, em Londres, e desde aí começou a dar consultas em Birmingham e York.
Também dirige clínicas para famílias com trigémeos e para as famílias que perderam um filho. Foi membro do County Adoption Panel e trabalha com uma série de organizações voluntárias ligadas aos problemas de infertilidade.
Publicou os seguintes trabalhos: Twins, Triplets and More (Gémeos, Trigémios e Mais, 1999, Quarteto Editora); Twins and Higher Multiple Births: a Guide to Their Nature and Nurture; e Twins in the Family: a Parent's Guide.
