Elisa Gomes da Torre

Doutorada em Literatura Medieval Portuguesa pela Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. É Professora Auxiliar na Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro e investigadora do Instituto de Filosofia da Universidade do Porto. A sua atividade centra-se nas áreas de Humanidades, com ênfase em Literatura e Filosofia Medievais. Foi visiting fellow da universidade de Oxford. Nos últimos anos, tem-se dedicado à Literatura de Viagens, editando inéditos em língua portuguesa de viajantes ingleses nos Açores e no Douro. Nesse âmbito, está inscrita em programa doutoral de Turismo, centrando-se no Turismo Literário, na Universidade de Santiago de Compostela.
