Éliette Abécassis é uma escritora francesa de ascendência marroquina-judia. É professora de filosofia na Universidade de Caen Normandia. Abécassis nasceu em Estrasburgo. O seu primeiro livro, Qumran, foi lançado em 1996 após três anos de pesquisa e foi traduzido para dezoito idiomas.
