Edward Buscombe

Edward Buscombe é uma autoridade no cinema tendo leccionado e escrito por mais de trinta anos. Director de Publicação na British Film Institute, Buscombe ensinou estudos cinematográficos em várias universidades americanas, incluindo em Nova Iorque, Iowa e Texas, e foi recentemente Professor Convidado na Faculdade de Media Arts no Southampton Institute.
Escreve regularmente para a revista Sight and Sound, escreveu artigos e textos para jornais sobre filmes como a Screen, Jump Cut e o Cinema Journal. Sendo um expert em filmes Western, Edward Buscombe escreveu extensivamente sobre este tema, incluindo livros como: John Ford's Stagecoach (BFI, 1992) e The Searchers (BFI, 2000). Também contribuiu para o livro The Movie Book (Phaidon, 1999) e editou The BFI Companion to the Western (Andre Deutsch, 1988).
