Eduardo Jorge Duarte
Born in 1982 in Monchique, "the bluish mountain range south of the imagination," as he likes to point out, he grew up in a house "with little literature but furnished with stories, like people's minds." A graduate in Geography and Regional Planning from Lisbon, he spent time in the Alentejo region, returned to Monchique, then back to Lisbon, and finally settled in Viseu, where he lives and works. He says he doesn't know where the coordinates of the future lie, nor does he know where he will be a year from now; he only assures that he will never leave his roots in the Algarve mountains. For a long time, he hosted a radio program where he talked about the books he read. He has short stories published in anthologies, in the Portuguese edition of [book title missing].
