Edmundo Rosa nasceu em Lisboa, em 1979, e é ator profissional desde os 18 anos. Além dos palcos de teatro, tem dado corpo a diversas personagens de séries e novelas. Viveu em Amesterdão entre 2006 e 2015. Em 2009, concluiu o mestrado em Língua e Cultura Inglesas na Universidade de Amesterdão e foi nessa mesma cidade que se inspirou para escrever Deus Foi de Férias, o seu primeiro romance.
