Edgar Peña Parra

Arcebispo Edgar Peña Parra nasceu na Venezuela em 1960. Recebeu a ordenação sacerdotal em 1985, incardinando-se na diocese de Maracaibo. Formou-se em Direito Canónico e entrou no Serviço Diplomático da Santa Sé em 1993. Depois de ter recebido a ordenação episcopal em 2011, foi sucessivamente Núncio Apostólico no Paquistão e em Moçambique. Atualmente desempenha a missão de Substituto para os Assuntos Gerais da Secretaria de Estado da Santa Sé.
