Eddie Calvert was known for his trumpet technique, specifically, for his ability to hit high notes, which earned him the nickname "The Magic Tin Man". Hits such as "Oh, Mein Papa" and "Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White", became pop music classics and turned him into a legend of British music.
